2020 Baroudeur: An important update
We are disappointed to announce that Wayne State University's sixth annual Baroudeur, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, has been canceled. We made this difficult decision because of ongoing uncertainty and health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.
If you have already registered for this year's ride, you can expect a full refund to your original payment method. We are working with Active Works, our registration partner, to process refunds as soon as possible. Due to the large number of similar event changes across the country, refunds will be processed in 2 to 3 weeks.
While we share your disappointment, we hope that you will join us in understanding the need to keep our community safe and put public health first. In true Baroudeur spirit, we'll all get to ride together again soon. We look forward to seeing you in 2021, and will share details about next year's ride as they become available.
The Baroudeur wouldn't be possible without you, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support. Together, we've had a lot of fun and helped Wayne State students achieve their dream of earning a degree — we look forward to continuing to do so in the future. If you would still like to support student scholarships or the Helping Individuals Go Higher Program (HIGH) at this time, you can still do so online.
